Vasseur: “We must be perfect at Monza”

The French team boss emphasised that racing at Monza creates great excitement every season and stated that they want to achieve a strong result, especially after Zandvoort.

Fred Vasseur said: "As every year, we are looking forward to getting back on track in Monza, especially after we were strong in terms of race pace at Zandvoort but didn't get the results we wanted."

"For the entire team, being surrounded by the passion and support of the tifosi is an incredible source of motivation. It allows us to put our heart into everything we do. We want to do our best to reciprocate this support."

However, Vasseur added that in order to use this motivation correctly, it is necessary to be free of emotions and go through the weekend without mistakes: “To achieve this, we need to put our emotions aside and focus on executing the weekend in the best possible way, from the first practice lap to the last lap of the race.”
